We are excited to share some incredible news with you – the Cabarrus County Sports Hall of Fame is being relaunched with a renewed mission and a brand-new permanent home at the Cabarrus Arena & Events Center. This revitalized initiative is dedicated to honoring the legendary athletes, coaches, teams, and contributors who have shaped the rich sports history of Cabarrus County. The new display will serve not only as a tribute to our community’s most outstanding sports figures but also as a source of inspiration for future generations of student-athletes. This carefully curated exhibit will serve as an educational and cultural asset for the entire region. We believe the story of Cabarrus County athletics deserves to be celebrated, preserved, and shared – and we’re inviting you to partner with us in making that vision a reality.
To support this initiative, we have applied to the IRS for recognition as a charitable organization under §501(c)(3). Once approved, contributions made on or after the date of application will be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Contributions from community leaders like you will help fund the design and construction of the new exhibit, support annual induction ceremonies, and ensure we can continue telling these important stories for years to come.
