1939 Signed with the Concord Weavers Class D NC State League and caught 1,672 consecutive innings for the Weavers between 1939 and 1940
1943 he signed with the Baltimore Orioles of the AA International League and was hitting for a .375 average
1946 Manager of the Tampa Baseball Team - Florida State League winning League Championship
1947 Manager of the Greenville, NC Team - Coastal Plain League.
1952 returned to Concord and helped organize Little League Baseball here
1953 Concord National All-Stars, coached by Johnny Pare and Cliff Evans, Won the NC Little League State Championship and advanced to the World Series in Birmingham, AL
MLB Scout for the Cleveland Indians and Chicago White Sox
1955-1957 Coached the Concord American Legion Post 51 Baseball Team
He and his Son Ron are the 1^st Father/Son Inductees into the CCSHOF
