The Charlotte Observer named her to its All- Piedmont Women’s Basketball teams in 1996-1997 and 1997-1998 (2 years). All-State 1997-1998 

1998 Selected to play in the First NC/SC All-Star Basketball Classic

Softball 4-year starter and selected All-County and All-Conference Softball team in 1996, 1997 and 1998. Team Captain and MVP 1998

Named Cabarrus County “Female Athlete of the Year” 1997-1998 and NCHSAA Scholar Athlete, N.C. Governors School 1996, 1997 and 1998

Graduated from NC State University with a BS Degree and Masters Degree in Education and Administration. Presently Administrator in CMS System.
