Football 1984 Freshman Starting Defensive Lineman and Won the Conference Championship and Western Regional Championship

1985 Starter on Offensive and Defensive line and Team made the Playoffs

1986 Two Way Starter and was selected to the All-County and All-Conference

1987 Two Way Starter. Won the Conference Championship and was selected All-County, All-Conference and Named Player of the Year in the Conference 

1987 NC/SC Shrine Bowl Game and selected as a Co-Captain

Wrestled 1985-1988 winning the County, Conference, Sectional and Regional Heavyweight Championship.

1988 Won the NCHSAA 4-A State Heavyweight Championship

1988-1993 Football Scholarship to Appalachian State University where he was a starter 1991 and 1992

1992 Graduated from Appalachian with a Degree in Criminal Justice. 

Employed for over 26 years as a Probation Officer with Cabarrus County
