1971 – NC East – West All-Star Game Starting Linebacker

1971 – Signed a Full Football Scholarship to attend UNC-CH but chose to accept the Morehead Scholarship and also played football. 

1971 UNC-CH Freshman Team Defensive Captain and Conference Champions 

1972 – 1974 UNC-CH Football Team Linebacker and End 

1972 Won Conference Championship and El Paso Sun Bowl Game

Local Business Owner for 40 years and Coached Recreational Softball and Basketball for 12 years

2022 Inducted into the Concord High School Athletic Hall of Fame
