Jay Graham

Concord High School 1989-1993

  • Football - 1990-1992 Rushed for 4,305 Yards and 45 TD’s

  • 1991 & 1992 All County, All Conference, All Regional and All State

  • 1992 Team Captain, MVP and “USA TODAY” All American 1st Team

  • Selected to the 1992 NC/SC Shrine Bowl Football Game

  • Track - 1992-1993 Set 100-meter and 200-meter CHS Track records and qualified for NCHSAA State Track and Field championships.  All County, All Conference, All State

  • 1993-1997 Accepted a Football Scholarship to the University of Tennessee  

  • 1995 and 1996 Named All Conference as a Running Back

  • Ranked sixth on UT career rushing list with 2,609 yards, 25 TD’s and held the school Record for eleven 100-yard games in one season 1995

  • 1995 MVP of the Citrus Bowl. Played in three bowl games and was selected Co-Captain of 1996 team

  • 1997 Drafted into the NFL by the Baltimore Ravens (1997-1999), Seattle Seahawks (2001) and Green Bay Packers (2002) and as a member of Montreal Alouettes of Canadian Football League (2003)

  • 2005 began Coaching and has been an Assistant College Football Coach for 8 different Colleges: UT-Martin, Miami of Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Florida State, Texas A&M, Alabama and East Tennessee State. 

  • 2013 National Championship Florida State Seminoles Running Backs Coach
