  • Football, Wrestling and Track and Field

  • Football- 3 years, 1971 Conference Co-Champions, Team Captain and 1st Team All-Conference Defensive Back

  • Wrestling - 3 years and Team Captain 1971-1972.  Track and Field 3 years

  • 1972-1976 Attended UNC-CH and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business. 1973-1975 Letterman and Safety for UNC-CH Football Team. 1975 Team Captain his senior year and was selected to the Academic All-Conference Team

  • Graduate Assistant for Tar Heel football program earning his Master’s Degree in 1982 which began his coaching career

  • Became an Assistant Coach: 1978-1983 Air Force Academy, 1984-1989 University of Arkansas and 1990 Clemson University

  • 1991-1995 NFL New York Giants and New England Patriots

  • 1996-2001 Duke University, 2002 Baylor University, 2003-2004 University of Louisiana Monroe

  • 2005-2008 NFL Cleveland Browns

  • 2009 University of Virginia and 2010 University of Richmond

  • 2014 Coached the U. S. 19 and under Football Team and won the IFAF World Championship against Canada
