1972-1976 Attended UNC-CH and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business. 1973-1975 Letterman and Safety for UNC-CH Football Team. 1975 Team Captain his senior year and was selected to the Academic All-Conference Team

Graduate Assistant for Tar Heel football program earning his Master’s Degree in 1982 which began his coaching career

Became an Assistant Coach: 1978-1983 Air Force Academy, 1984-1989 University of Arkansas and 1990 Clemson University

1991-1995 NFL New York Giants and New England Patriots

1996-2001 Duke University, 2002 Baylor University, 2003-2004 University of Louisiana Monroe

2005-2008 NFL Cleveland Browns

2009 University of Virginia and 2010 University of Richmond

2014 Coached the U. S. 19 and under Football Team and won the IFAF World Championship against Canada
