After graduation he worked for Concord Parks and Recreation and was a Boys Club Camp Director
Served in the Military – 1951
Coached and taught in America and Germany for the Department of Defense Overseas Education System
Coached Youth Football, Soccer, Biking, Swimming and Outdoor/Environmental Education
Coached in Berlin, Germany High School and won the 6-man Football Championship in 1958 and the 11-man Football Championship in 1959
Recipient of two Berlin Command Achievement Awards
Taught at Appalachian State University 1976-1977
