• Began running at the age of 60. 

• Completed 81 Marathons 

• Competed in several Triathlons, 5-K and 10-K races.

• Guinness Book of World Records listed her as the Oldest Person to have completed a Marathon (26-mile run) on each of the 7 continents.

• She ran the original Marathon route in Athens, Greece, the Great Wall of China Marathon, the Mount Everest Challenge Marathon, and the Antarctica Marathon.

• Won the Gwendolyn Clark Award in November 2014 as the oldest finisher of the New York City Marathon.

• Won countless distance runs from the age of 60 to the age of 83.
