Larry "Satch" Sedberry

Concord High School 1949-1953

 

• Basketball 3 Year player, All County and All Conference 1951-1953

• Baseball   4 Year player, All County and All Conference 1952 and 1953 and Team MVP 1953

• 1953-1955 Baseball Scholarship to Wingate Jr. College 1953-1955 

• All Conference and All District Baseball 1955

• 1955-1957 Baseball Scholarship to Pfeiffer College 

• Led team in Victories as a Pitcher for 2 years making All Conference 1956 and 1957. 

• 1957 Graduated from Pfeiffer College with a Teaching degree and was a High School Teacher and Coach 30 Years in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg and Cabarrus County School systems.

• Inducted into the Wingate University Athletic Hall of Fame 

• Inducted into the Pfeiffer University Athletic Hall of Fame.
