Ethan Horton

A.L. Brown High School 1977-1981

 

  • Football Basketball and Track 4 Years

  • Football 3 Year Starter, 1978-1980 All County, All Conference and All State

  • 1980 NC/SC Shrine Bowl Football Game and selected MVP for thew Game

  • Basketball 3 Year Starter, 1979-1981 All County and All Conference. 1980-1981 All State

  • Track 4 1978-1981 Years. 1980-1981 All County, All Conference and All State

  • 1981-1985 Football Scholarship to UNC-CH. All Conference 3 years and ACC Player of the Year in 1984. Inducted into the “Ring of Honor” at Keenan Stadium and his #12 Jersey is retired.

  • 1981 Gator Bowl MVP and 1982 Sun Bowl MVP.

  • 1985 NFL First round draft choice of the K.C. Chiefs. 1987-1993 played for the L.A. Raiders. 1994 played for Washington Redskins and retired.

  • Radio and TV analyst for the Carolina Panthers of the NFL.

  • Time Warner Football analyst for High School, College and Professional Football games. Also serves as a WBTV-3 Sports Call in analyst.
