  • Fast Pitch Softball Pitcher and outstanding Hitter and Fielder for Central Cabarrus High School and the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill

  • Led Central Cabarrus High School to 2 North Carolina 4A Softball State Championships 2000 and 2001, named Most Valuable Player both years. Led 2002 team to North Carolina 3A State Runner-up.

  • Career North Carolina high school record holder in strikeouts 1455, innings pitched 747.2, no-hitters 37, perfect games 17, and single-season shutouts 26. Career wins 106 and career ERA 0.28.

  • Named All-Conference and Conference Player of the Year four straight years.

  • North Carolina High School Female Athlete of the Year 2001 and 2002.

  • 2002 North Carolina Softball Gatorade Player of the Year.

  • 2002 Set a National Record with 8 perfect games.

  • Holds several pitching records at the University of North Carolina, first in single-season complete games 31, strikeouts 297, and opposition battling average .164.

  • Ranks 34TH in NCAA Division 1 career strikeouts 1,205

  • In 2010 became the first Player and First Female Inductee into the NC Softball Coaches Association Hall of Fame
