• Played Basketball 4 Years – 3 years All County and All Conference.

• Team Captain and MVP 1982 & 1983

• All State in Basketball 1982 & 1983

• Softball, and Tennis 4 years

• 1983-1987 Basketball Scholarship to Wake Forest University 

• 4 Year Starter – All Time Leader in points, rebounds, assists, and steals.  

• All Conference 3 years, All Tournament 2 years and All-American 3 years

• Graduated summa cum laude with a degree in History and a Masters from the University of Richmond

• 2000 – Inducted into the Wake Forest University Sports Hall of Fame

• University of Kansas as Associate Athletic Director

• 2001 – NBA Team President for player development of the Fayetteville Patriots

• 2005 - Elected Executive Director of the Knight Commission for Inter-Collegiate Athletics
