• 3 Year Starter in Football 1950, 1951, 1952

• All-County and All-Conference 1951 and 1952

• 1952 Selected as Captain of the Football Team 

• 1951 & 1952 Team MVP

• 1953 Selected to play in the East-West All-Star Football Game

• Was offered numerous scholarships but chose to enter the workforce.

• Considered to be one of the finest lineman to play at Concord High School
