Charles E. Rimer

Concord High School 1942-1946

• Football and Baseball Letterman 4 Years 

• Football 4 Year Starter.  All Conference and Team Captain 1944 & 1945

• Baseball 4 Year Starter.  All Conference and Team Captain 1946

• Scholarship to Davidson College where he was a 4 Year starter and standout in Football.  All Conference, Team Captain and MVP 1949

• Graduated from Davidson College with an Undergraduate Degree. Received a Master’s Degree from Appalachian State University and an Administrator’s Degree from UNC-CH.

• Served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War as a Commander and remained as a Commander with the Army Reserves through the 1970’s.

• 1955-1965 was at Concord High School as a Teacher, Athletic Director, Head Football Coach and Head Baseball Coach.

• 1969-1986 Principal at Concord High School 1969-1986.

• Director of Pupil Services and Athletic Director for Cabarrus County Schools 1986-1990.
