Mt. Pleasant High School 1962-1966

 

• Football, Basketball, Baseball and Track 4 Years 

• Football 3 Year Starter. 1964 & 1965 he was selected All County and All Conference, Team MVP and Team Captain

• 1965-1966 Named Cabarrus County Athlete of the Year

• 1966 selected to the East-West All Star Football Game

• Basketball 3 Year Starter - All County and All Conference

• Baseball 3 Year Starter - All County and All Conference

• Track and Field 3 Year participant - All County and All Conference

• 1966-1970 Received a Full Football Scholarship to Lenoir-Rhyne University 

• 1968 and 1969 All Conference defensive Back – All American for 1969

• 1970 Graduated from L-R University with a Teaching Degree

• Taught and Coached at Newton-Conover, Albemarle, Mt. Pleasant and J.M. Robinson until he retired.
